ORANGE — Along with Reading, Writing and Math, volunteering is part of St. Mary Catholic School teachings. One 7th grade student, Olivia Fuselier, sent texts out to other students asking for help to weed the Prayer Garden. The garden was becoming overgrown with weeds and needed tending. Quite a few students showed up before school to help. Even students not contacted, stopped to pitch in and help beautify the school. Stephen Kusek, Eli Vigil, Carter Claybar, Jude Fuselier, Elizabeth Johns, Brent Hebert, John Michael Gonzalez, Corey Simpson, Olivia Fuselier, Lydia Covington, Spencer Johns and Manawar Rahman are hard at work beautifying the Prayer Garden.
