Good Friday closures ahead of weekend

ORANGE — The majority of governmental agencies and offices, along with some businesses, will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday and the Easter weekend.

All non-essential offices for the City of Orange, West Orange, Pinehurst, Bridge City, Vidor and Pine Forest will be closed on Friday, April 22, in observance of Good Friday. Regular city operations will resume on Monday, April 25.

The City of West Orange will also be closed on Monday and will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, April 26.

All City of Rose City offices will be open for business as normal on Friday.

Garbage collection services will reportedly run as normal for all Orange County communities.

The Orange County Courthouse and other non-essential county offices will be closed on Friday in observance of Good Friday as well.

U.S. Postal Services will operate as normal on Good Friday, but you may want to check with your specific financial institution on its operating schedule.

Orange Savings Bank, Community Bank and Capital One are just some of the banks which will be open for business on Friday, whereas Bridge City Bank will be closed in observance of the holiday.

The majority of credit unions will be closed on Friday in observance of the holiday, but, some, such as DuPont Goodrich Credit Union, will be closed Friday and open on Saturday.
