Town Hall Meeting
Vidor Chief of Police Dave Shows will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, inside Vidor City Hall, 1395 N. Main. Citizens are encouraged to attend and ask questions which he might be able to assist them, including public safety, traffic safety, or community problems.
The Rose City city council will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 12, at City Hall, 370 S. Rose City Drive in Rose City. The public is welcome to attend.
Donations will be accepted beginning April 12 for the sale to be held 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, in the Mellie Nagai Community Room of the Vidor Public Library, 440 E. Bolivar in Vidor. Sale will feature books, audio-visual and "white elephant" table.
The Vidor Rotary Club’s annual scholarship breakfast will be held from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m., Friday, April 20 at Casa Ole on Main Street in Vidor. Cost is $10 and meal includes tortillas, eggs, chorizo sausage, potatoes, beans, fruit and a drink. Tickets are available from any Vidor Rotary Club member.
Triangle Trade Days
Triangle Trade Days is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., every Saturday and Sunday, and is located next to New York Pizza and Pasta off South Street along Interstate 10 in Vidor. The public is invited.
The Vidor Rotary Club meets at noon, every Monday, upstairs in the Capital One building on North Main Street.
VHS Athletic Boosters
The Vidor Pirate Athletic Booster Club meets at 5:30 p.m., every Monday, at Vidor Junior High in room 303 in third wing. All parents of Vidor boys and girls athletics, and the community, are invited to attend.
VHS Project Graduation
Project Graduation meetings are held at 6:30 p.m., every Monday, in the VHS Cafeteria. All 2011-2012 seniors and parents are invited.
