ORANGE — The West Orange–Cove CISD Education Foundation will host a Benefit Golf Tournament in March to fund innovative learning opportunities for students in the WO-C CISD school system.

This is the first fundraiser for the Foundation.

“The West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District has many educators with exciting ideas about how to provide unique learning opportunities for their students, but a lack of funds to make some of those ideas come to life,” said Krispen Walker, president of the WO-C CISD Education Foundation. “For the past three years, the Education Foundation has been able to make many of those dreams come true for educators and students. As a foundation, we want to continue to assist the students of this district to have new and exciting avenues of learning.”

The Benefit Golf Tournament will be held at Bayou Din Golf Club in Beaumont on Saturday, March 29.

“Our goal is to inform the community about what the Foundation strives to offer students and to get the community involved in helping to make great things happen,” Walker said.

The Benefit Golf Tournament will feature a four-person scramble at a cost of $75 per person or $300 per team. Contests will be held for the longest drive and closest to the pin. Hole sponsorships are available for $200 each. Beverage Cart and Clubhouse Banner Sponsorships are also available at $300 and $500, respectively.

Registration forms are available through at the West Orange – Cove Educational Service Center (902 W. Park) or through the WO-C CISD Education Foundation Facebook page at
