ORANGE — Orange County Dusty Trails 4-H had two members competing at the District 9 4-H Horse Show in College Station recently. Bailey Manning placed 10th in reining, 12th in stock horse pleasure, 12th in stock horse trail, and 14th in horsemanship. Kelsey Jordan won first place in working cow horse, and she finished third in stock horse trail, ninth in reining, 10th in stock horse pleasure, and fourth in horsemanship. Kelsey also placed second overall in the 3-year-old futurity. Both Bailey Manning and Kelsey Jordan are advancing to the Texas 4-H Horse Show in Abilene.

Cosby opens Lutcher's 35th season in style
The Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts 35th season kicked off in fine fashion with two sold-out performances on Thursday and Friday nights by the legendary Bill Cosby. The capacity crowd laughed from start to finish as Cosby spoke about marriage, bodily functions, age, his hotel and the papermill.
