VHS Brigs attend leadership camp in Galveston

GALVESTON — The Vidor High School Brigadette director Ginger Faul would like to announce that the Brigadette Officers attended Officer Leadership camp in Galveston at the Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center with the American Dance Drill Team Co.

The officers were chosen by the camp staff on day one with The Gussie Nell Davis Award for Outstanding work ethic and unity. They also received division 1 ratings on all dances performed to give them a Sweepstakes Award.

They brought a dance for the Home Routine night and also received a Home Routine award on their performance. There were only five of these given out in the entire camp. This dance was choreographed by Kyndal Stack.

Two of the girls were chosen All American and three were chosen All American Honorable Mention. Outstanding Performer was given to Brittni Shelton. They were chosen Grand Champion Officers of the Week.
