Small Business Award winners announced

BEAUMONT — Each year, local Chambers of Commerce recognize local businesses for their accomplishments throughout Southeast Texas. On April 10th, the small business awards were presented at the 2014 State of Texas Small Business Awards during Business Development Week on behalf of the Office of the Governor and Texas Workforce Solutions. We congratulate each recipient on their outstanding achievements and dedication to the economic development of Southeast Texas.

The 2014 Southeast Texas Small Business Person of the Year - Bob Shaw Consulting, Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce

Cloeren Inc. is an International leader setting many industry standards. Formally founded in 1980 by Peter Cloeren, Sr. and Peter F. Cloeren, Jr. They have received more than 25 patents over the years and expanded their operations to include four manufacturing facilities; all in Texas with 3 located in Orange. They expanded internationally in 1994 through the opening of Cloeren Japan Ltd and Cloeren Europe. Cloeren now has sales and service offices around the globe. In 1997 they became the largest die manufacturer in the world. Cloeren has continued expanding world-wide but most recently in 2013 at its manufacturing facilities in Orange.
