Vidor Public Library extends hours for summer

VIDOR — Summer is on the way and the Vidor Public Library is making some changes.

The Vidor Public Library announced recently it will be extending its hours of operation for the summer. The new hours went into effect this past Tuesday, May 13 and will continue through Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014.

The new hours of operation have been extended by one hour solely on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the Vidor Public Library being open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“This will give people the chance to come by the library and enjoy the extra hour to grab a book or two, use the computer or check out a movie,” stated Colette Turner, librarian.

The library’s hours of operation will remain from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and closed Saturday and Sunday.

Call the Vidor Public Library at 409-769-7148 for information.
