Edge of Freedom saga continues

ORANGE — Cara’s search for her brother, Eoghan, continues in Dark Road Home by Elizabeth Ludwig.

Cara is a  young Irish woman who travels to America in search of her twin brother during the late 1800s.

Cara discovers her brother is alive after two years of believing his disappearance was due to his death.

The second book in the Edge of Freedom trilogy gives a more in-depth perception of Eoghan and how he believes his sister, Cara, betrayed him.

The story also adds to the depth of Ana, a character introduced in the first book.

The characters struggle with danger, their perception of the past, and a lack of faith. The trials the characters face add to the intrigue of the storyline.

The book is hard to put down once one starts reading as the turn of events and hints of more to come keeps the reader entertained in the tale as it unfolds.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book to enjoy and look forward to the release of book three in the series.

Dark Road Home is written by Elizabeth Ludwig of Orange, and published by Bethany House Publishers, Bloomington, Minnesota. The book is the second of a trilogy, scheduled to be released in August 2013.
