VIDOR — Mold found o onions and black mold on a wall at a three compartment sink during a recent health code and compliance inspection lead to a score of 90 out of a possible 100 for Pop’s Place, 4795 North Main Street, Vidor. Other demerits were for storing hamburger meat uncovered in the freezer and for not having a certified food manager on staff. The business was given 30 days to get certification.

An odor coming from the area around the pizza making line led to a score of 90 for Domino’s Pizza located at 2107 MacArthur Drive, Orange. The restaurant also received demerits for employee drinks  mixed in with foods sold to the public and not having a certified food manager.  The business was given 30 days to get certification.

Flava-Foods, 410 Green Avenue, Orange, received demerits for storing hamburger patties uncovered in the reach-in cooler and for not having a certified food manager on staff. The business received a 93 out of a possible 100 and given 30 days to get certification.

Hampton Inn Orange, 2080 Interstate 10 West, Orange, received a 97 for not having a certified food manager on staff. The establishment has 30 days to get certification.
