Missing teen returns home

VIDOR — A teenage girl who was reported missing early Tuesday morning has returned home.

Haily Breanne Benavidez of Vidor was reported missing at approximately 4 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19. The Orange County Sheriff's Office issued an e-mail late Tuesday evening stating the teen had returned home. No other information was given.


The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the location of 13-year-old Haily Breanne Benavidez of Vidor. According to her mother, Candice Wood, Haily was last seen at approximately 11 p.m., Aug. 19, at her residence in the 100 block of Briar Circle in Vidor. When her mother woke up at 4 a.m., Tuesday, Haily was not in the residence.

Wood informed law enforcement she was unable to locate Haily and that her daughter did not have access to a vehicle, so was believed to have either left the location on foot or was picked up by another person.

Haily is a white female, approximately five feet tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds. She was last seen to be wearing a blue-green shirt and black capri pants.

Anyone with information on this teenage girl is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 409-883-2612.
