The Orange County Commissioners’ Court will conduct a public workshop on the East Round Bunch Road swing bridge since it’s one of the infrastructure projects for the Hurricane Ike Round 2.2 disaster funding.
The workshop will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, in the commissioners’ courtroom of the Orange County Administration Building, 123 S. Sixth Street. The regular meeting will begin at 2 p.m.

The court will consider awarding bids on the Coastal Impact Assistance Program grant installation for on-site sewage facilities for Orange County locations and for Vidor locations.
Commissioners will consider reappointing M.J. Girlinghouse and David Roberts to a two-year term as commissioners, appointing Billy Nichols to fill a vacant position for a two-year term as commissioner to the Orange County Emergency Services District #4 beginning January 1, 2012.
The commissioners will also consider appointing Spencer Fuss an honorary commissioner on the Orange County Emergency Services District #4 beginning 1, 2012 to fill the unexpired two-year term of honorary member, Arthur Hickey.
The county commissioners will also consider appointing commissioner positions for a two-year term on the Orange County Emergency Services District #1.
