ORANGE — Scrapbooking

The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2523, located at 803 N. 28th St. in Orange is offering free scrapbook classes at 4 p.m., each Tuesday. The community is invited to come join in. For more information contact Sharon Bodin at 409-735-8662 or 409-719-7793.

Easter Egg Hunt

Cove Baptist Church of Orange, 1005 DuPont Drive, and its Preschool/Children’s Ministry team will hold its annual Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. - noon, Friday, March 29 for children ages toddler through sixth grade. There will also be face-painting, games, crafts, hot dogs and prizes. Call 409-883-4155 for info.

City of Orange Easter Egg Hunt

The annual City of Orange Easter Egg Hunt will be held Friday, March 29, at the City of Orange Boat Ramp on Simmons Drive. The event is free and open to the public. Activities begin at 9 a.m. with Easter Egg hunt promptly at 10 a.m. Age groups are 0-3 years; 4-6 years; and 7-8 years.

St. Patrick’s Dance

The Arc of Greater Beaumont will hold a St. Patrick’s dance from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, March 29, for individuals age 18 years old and older that have intellectual and developmental delays. This Social Club event will be held at Courville’s, located at 1744 Rose Lane in Beaumont. Cost is $3 for Arc and self advocate members and $6 for non-members. Participants are encouraged to wear their green and dance the night away Irish style.

Gospel Singing

New Anointing Church, 10681 N. Hwy 87 in Orange, will have its monthly old-fashioned gospel singing at 7 p.m., Friday, March 29. Please bring your favorite gospel song on tape or CD or bring your musical instrument. Refreshments will follow the singing. Call 409-746-9515 for info.

Catfish Dinners

St. Therese Catholic Church, 1409 N. Sixth St. in Orange, will have catfish dinners available from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., every Friday during Lent. Meal is $8 and includes catfish, red rice, potato salad, green beans, cake and bread. Delivery available on orders of 5 or more. Call 409-883-3783 for orders.
