ORANGE — Plant Sale

Team Captain meeting

The Orange County Relay for Life will hold a month Team Captain meetings on Monday, March 25. The Team Captain meetings will be held at the Lamar State College – Orange Wilson Building, Room 101. The March 25 meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m. Additional team captain meetings are scheduled April 22. All Team Captain meetings are directed at planning for the Orange County Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, which will be held May 3 – 4, 2013 at Bridge City High School from 6:30 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. This year’s theme is “A Little Bit of Texas, A Whole Lot of Hope.” Individuals or teams interested in becoming involved with this event are invited to attend the meeting and register on-line at www.OrangeCountyRelay.org

Lutcher Stark Class Reunion

Attention all Tigers! The Lutcher Stark High School Classes of 1953 and 1955 will be hosting a reunion Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange. Any classmates who graduated in the 1950s are invited to join us. Cost is $60 per person to attend both nights, $40 for Friday only, or $40 for Saturday only. OC Republicans

The Orange County Republican Party will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at the Orange County Commissioners Courtroom at the Orange County Courthouse Annex in Orange. Join us as we discuss what’s ahead for the Republican Party for 2014.

Nederland Art Guild

Nederland Art Guild classes are held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the Texas Artists Museum, 3501 Cultural Center Drive near the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur. Cost is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. During the month of March, Ann Hoffpauir of Orange will be the instructor. The class will do a still life of fruit and Ann requests that your canvas be a small one, either 11 X 14, or 12 X 16. For more information, call Doris at 409-728-1875.
