Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, 2111 W. Park in Orange, will hold its Saturday Adventure Series from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 23. Join us to “Build a Birdfeeder” to welcome back the birds of spring. During this family-friendly program, participants will create traditional feeders and hummingbird feeders using recycled and natural materials. CCS Parents “Ultimate Escape’

Statistics and trends present an alarming problem facing students and their families, regardless of their religious background. Team Captain meeting
The Orange County Relay for Life will hold a month Team Captain meetings on Monday, March 25. The Team Captain meetings will be held at the Lamar State College – Orange Wilson Building, Room 101. The March 25 meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m. Additional team captain meetings are scheduled April 22. All Team Captain meetings are directed at planning for the Orange County Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, which will be held May 3 – 4, 2013 at Bridge City High School from 6:30 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. This year’s theme is “A Little Bit of Texas, A Whole Lot of Hope.” Individuals or teams interested in becoming involved with this event are invited to attend the meeting and register on-line at www.OrangeCountyRelay.org
Lutcher Stark Class Reunion
Attention all Tigers! The Lutcher Stark High School Classes of 1953 and 1955 will be hosting a reunion Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange. Nederland Art Guild
Nederland Art Guild classes are held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the Texas Artists Museum, 3501 Cultural Center Drive near the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur. City of Orange Easter Egg Hunt
The annual City of Orange Easter Egg Hunt will be held Friday, March 29, at the City of Orange Boat Ramp on Simmons Drive. The event is free and open to the public. Activities begin at 9 a.m. with Easter Egg hunt promptly at 10 a.m. Age groups are 0-3 years; 4-6 years; and 7-8 years.
St. Patrick’s Dance
The Arc of Greater Beaumont will hold a St. Patrick’s dance from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, March 29, for individuals age 18 years old and older that have intellectual and developmental delays. This Social Club event will be held at Courville’s, located at 1744 Rose Lane in Beaumont. Cost is $3 for Arc and self advocate members and $6 for non-members.
