OC Health and Code Compliance accepting applications for CIAP grant

ORANGE — Orange County Health and Code Compliance is now accepting applications for On-Site Facility Program Homeowner’s funded by the Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) Grant.

“We have been able to complete approximately 100-110 per round,” Orange County Health and Code Compliance Director Joel Ardoin said. “We should be able to do a little more this round than in the last two.”

The 2009-2010 award was combined into one year according to Ardoin. The funds for this year’s award is $1,049,286.77.

“We had more applications than money for the last round,” Ardoin said in a telephone interview. “Those that were already approved are being done with this round.”

It can be dropped off at the Environmental Health and Code Compliance offices located inside the Orange County Convention and Expo Center located at 11475 Farm to Market Road 1442 or mailed to the Orange County Administration Building located at 123 South 6th Street in Orange.
