Great events highlight fall and winter schedule

Tckets go on sale at 11 a.m., today, as comedian and actor Rodney Carrington returns to Beaumont for a performance inside the beautiful Julie Rogers Theatre on Jan. 30, 2010.

Tickets are $39.75 each, plus service charge, and are available at FYE in Central Mall in Port Arthur, HEB on Dowlen Road in Beaumont, and the Beaumont Civic Center box office, or you may charge by phone at 800-745-3000.

At 10 a.m., Saturday, tickets go on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets as country music sensation Jason Aldean returns to the Golden Triangle for a concert at Ford Arena on Jan. 29, 2010.

Tickets are $34.75-$27.75, plus service charge, and are sure to go fast.

For those who enjoy the traditional theater productions, then look no further than Orange as the Lutcher Theater will be the site for four farewell performances of the hit Irish musical “Riverdance.”

Performances are scheduled Nov. 20 - Nov. 22 and tickets are on sale now for $35-$65 at the Lutcher Theater box office or by call 409-886-5535 or purchase online at www.lutcher.org.

The highly popular rock act Hinder is slated to perform on Nov. 23 inside Ford Exhibit Hall as the group continues touring in support of its sophomore album, “Take It to The Limit,” which debuted at number 4 on the Billboard charts earlier this year.

Tickets are $23.50 in advance at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Ford Park box office, and will be $27.50 on the day of the show. Also appearing are The Veer Union and Faktion.

Another great concert on tap at Ford Park features pop star Kelly Clarkson, along with special guest Eric Hutchinson. Both artists will perform inside Ford Arena on Dec. 5.

Tickets are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, including special VIP packages which are priced at $282.50 and $85. Regular ticket prices are $59.50 and $49.50, plus service charges where applicable.

One of the most beloved stories of all time will transform the Lutcher Theater stage into wonderful tale of “Wizard of Oz” on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 as three performances are slated for that weekend.

Tickets are on sale at the Lutcher Theater box office for $60, $50, $45 and $35 or by calling 409-886-5535. Tickets have been selling quickly for all performances, so hurry to get yours before it is too late.

If you enjoy a little more action in your entertainment, then get ready for some great wrestling action as WWE returns to Ford Arena on Dec. 7.

The action is slated to include a championship match between the Undertaker and the winner of a 12-man battle royal match. Wrestlers scheduled to appear include Matt Hardi, The Great Khali, William Regal, Christian, Goldust and many, many more.

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets for $18-$53.

A great family event is also on the late fall slate at Ford Arena as children of all ages will enjoy “Curious George Live!” There are four performances scheduled between Dec. 18 to Dec. 20 and tickets are $12-$25.

Another guaranteed laugh riot will be the Jan. 9, 2010 appearance by comedian Ron White, as he returns to Beaumont for the “Behavioral Problems Tour.” Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets for $42.75, plus service charge.
