Vidor Police Beat

The Vidor Police Department responded to the following calls from Oct. 18 through Oct. 24.



Sunday, Oct. 18

• A person was arrested for DWI and a person was arrested for public intoxication following a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Main Street.

• Disturbance in the 500 block of North Main Street. A person was arrested for disorderly conduct.

• Assault in the 400 block of South Denver Street. A person was arrested for outstanding warrants.



Monday, Oct. 19

• Person was arrested for driving with an expired license following traffic stop in 500 block of Byrd Street.



Tuesday, Oct. 20

• Two people were arrested for traffic related charges following multiple vehicle collision at State Highway 12 and North Tram Road.

• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana and a person was arrested for interfering with a public servants duties following report of pedestrian being struck by automobile in 400 block of West Tram Road.

• Person was arrested in 100 block of Watts Street for outstanding warrant.



Wednesday, Oct. 21

• Person was arrested in 100 block of Watts Street for outstanding warrant.

• Person was arrested for outstanding warrants following traffic stop in the 400 block of North Main Street.



Thursday, Oct. 22

• Person was arrested for outstanding warrant following warrant service call in the 100 block of Camp Street.

• A person was arrested for outstanding warrants following report of a vehicle crashing into storefront in 100 block of West Bolivar.



Friday, Oct. 23

• Person was arrested for outstanding warrants in 300 block of Connell following warrant service call.

• A person was arrested for DWI, possession of a controlled substance and injury to a child with intent following report of a pedestrian being struck by an automobile in 200 block of Melrose.

• Theft in the 1300 block of North Main Street. A person was arrested for theft, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.

• A person was arrested for public intoxication in 1300 block of North Main Street.



Saturday, Oct. 24

• Disturbance in the 200 block of East Elizabeth Street. A person was arrested for outstanding warrants.

• A person was arrested for outstanding warrants in another jurisdiction following traffic stop in 600 block of Old Highway 90 West.

• Assault in the 600 block of South Archie Street. A person was arrested for outstanding warrant.

• Person was arrested for public intoxication following traffic stop for riding bicycle against flow of traffic at North Dewitt Road and Park Street.
