OCSO nabs pill dealers

Orange County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Special Services Division recently worked an undercover investigation involving the delivery of a controlled substance which resulted in the arrest of two people.

About 1:33 p.m. Tuesday Cody Paul Lejuhn, 29 of Vinton, La. and Brandon Howell, 25, of Vinton, La. crossed the Texas state line and each sold three different types of prescription pills to an undercover deputy. After the exchange of cash for the prescription pills occurred, Lejuhn and Howell were arrested.  

Both men were transported to the Orange County Correctional Facility and charged with three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance which are second degree felonies. Bonds have not been set at this time due to the additional charges pending from Louisiana. 

During further investigation investigating Deputies contacted the Vinton Police Department and learned that Waynes Pharmacy in Vinton, Louisiana was recently burglarized and over 101,000 pills were stolen from the pharmacy. 

Investigating Deputies also recovered more prescription pills inside of the suspect’s vehicle. Additional charges are pending on both Cody Paul Lejuhn and Brandon Howell.
