Town hall meeting to discuss health care bill Thursday

The Concerned Citizens of Orange County are sponsoring a health care town hall meeting right here in Orange County and are inviting all interested people to attend.

The program will be held at 7 p.m. today in the cafeteria at Orangefield Junior High School on FM 105. The public is invited to attend, hear information about the health care proposal which is before Congress at this time and how it might affect citizens. The program is free of charge.

There will be presentations from health care professionals, including Dr. David Teuscher, MD, Orthopedic Specialist, and Dr. James Jones, MD, who is a member of the Orange Baptist Memorial Hospital staff. Both of these talented men are very knowledgeable of health care and the health care bill before Congress at this time.

Also scheduled to speak is Tyler Russell, from Montgomery County, who will reportedly oppose U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas-8th District) in the next election.

This an educational and informational meeting, so there will be a question and answer time after the presentation.

The Concerned Citizens of Orange County are a bipartisan group, which opposes irresponsible spending by our government. We see reducing health care costs and extending coverage to the less fortunate as worthwhile.
