Angelle, Juneau announced as Orangefield top grads

Orangefield High School has announced its Class of 2008-2009 valedictorian in Tyler Angelle and salutatorian in Josh Juneau.
Valedictorian Tyler Angelle is the oldest son of Thad and Candace Angelle. He was the captain of the basketball team and selected as All-District Newcomer of the Year and was selected First Team All District and All Orange Leader Team. He also played golf and tennis and qualified for regionals in both sports.
He served as class president his junior and senior years. He was involved in National Honor Society and Student Council. He received Highest Rank in his class and All A Honor Roll all four years of high school. He also attended Kiwanis Citizenship Day and HOBY.
After graduation he plans to attend Lamar University or Louisiana State University and major in accounting.
Salutatorian Josh Juneau is the only son of Louis and Linda Juneau. He played football all four years of high school and was team captain his senior year. He was selected for 1st Team Academic All-State Football Team and All-District Scholastic Athlete. He was also named Defensive MVP.
Josh has been involved in many extracurricular activities including Student Government, BADD Club, Art Club, and UIL Current Events and Issues. He has also been a part of the Academic Challenge Team.
He plans to major in chemical engineering after graduation.
