About 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 27, 2009 simulatanious search warrants were executed by officers of the Orange Police Department, Orange County Sheriff's Office, and the West Orange Police Department.
Officers from the Sheriff's Department executed a warrant at 116 Amaryllis Street and officers from the Orange and West Orange police departments executed a warrant at 506 Azalea.
At 506 Azalea officers located approximately one and a half pounds of marijuana. Jennine Thompson,51, was arrested for possession of marijuana which is a state jail felony.
She was transported to the Orange County Jail. The case is still under investigation and other charges against other individual(s) may follow.
This effort in the Roselawn area is a continution of the combined efforts of all Orange area law enforcement agencies.
OPD officials look forward to continuing this combined law enforcement effort and they ask any citizen with information relating to narcotics activities to contact their respective law enforcement agency or to contact Eas Tex Crime Stoppers at 409-724-TIPS or 409-724-8477.
