Holiday closings for Good Friday

In observance of Good Friday and Easter, the majority of non-emergency of city and county governmental offices, as well as many area schools and businesses, will be closed.

All city offices in Orange, West Orange, Vidor, Bridge City, Pinehurst, and Pine Forest will be closed Friday. West Orange city offices will also be closed on Monday. Rose City will be open for business as normal on Friday.

Orange County government agencies will be closed in observance of Good Friday as well.

All Orange County school districts, including the West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District, Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, Vidor ISD, Orangefield ISD and Bridge City ISD will be closed Friday. The Deweyville Independent School District will also be closed in observance of Good Friday.

Garbage collection for all Orange County areas will run as scheduled on Friday and Monday.

Many banking institutions such as Orange Savings Bank, Wells Fargo, Community Bank, and Compass Bank will be open on Friday. MCT Credit Union and Sabine Federal Credit Union will be closed.

Also, United States Postal Service mail delivery will run as normal Friday and Monday.
