Deweyville soldier dies at Fort Hood

— Pvt. Samuel Lee Moody of Deweyville died Saturday at Fort Hood and services are now pending with Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Moody was 29 years old.
Calls to the Fort Hood public affairs office went unanswered Monday and messages were left by Orange Leader staff.
Sgt. Michael Minnis at Fort Polk could not comment on Moody’s death.
The US Defenselink Web site, which posts the deaths of soldiers, has not been updated since March 18.
