Lady Bears sink Crosby in Game One
Little Cypress-Mauriceville third baseman Blythe Ferguson roped a two-run double in the top of the sixth inning and shortstop Haley Mills blasted a three-run home run in the seventh to help propel the Lady Bears to a 6-0 Class 4A bidistrict playoff victory over the Crosby Lady Cougars in Game One of their best-of-three series.
Lady Cats fall to Coldspring
The Coldspring Lady Trojans ended a superb season by the Orangefield Lady Bobcats by posting an 11-5 victory in the Class 3A bidistrict softball playoffs at Jasper Friday night.
