ORANGEFIELD — It was a great night for “Friday Night Lights” in Bobcat Country.

The Orangefield Bobcats would be challenging the Buna Cougars at F. L. McClain Field in Orangefield. It was Senior Night for Orangefield and a huge game because they needed to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Bobcats certainly didn’t disappoint their faithful as they held off the Cougars 27-20.

The Bobcats (4-5, 3-2) would be led by quarterback Eric Truncale as he racked up 162 yards including two long touchdown carries of 83 and 45 yards. Running back Carl Wiley was also a major contributor adding 102 yards on 15 carries including two touchdown totes.
