Orangefield Senior tight end Mason Sonnier, has been selected to play in the All American Bowl presented by Blue Grey Events and Impact Sports.
The All-American Bowl will be held at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Sonnier earned the right to wear the colors of the Blue Grey by showing great skill at earlier combines, the first of which was held at the University of Texas Arlington with a following combine being hosted at the New England Patriot training facility in Boston, Massachusetts.
Out of almost 7,000 participants from all over the United States, Sonnier was one of only 90 prospects selected to participate in the All American Bowl.
These talented young men will band together as one unit and display their skills to the nation.
The coaching staff consists of former NFL players that now give back to the All Americans.
Over 650 colleges and millions of football fans from all over the country are excited to watch the All American Bowl. The game will be carried by Impact Sports Network and streamed across the country. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2013.
