BC volley camp
BRIDGE CITY — The Bridge City Volleyball Camp will be held July 15-18 and Aug. 19-21 at the Bridge City High School Gym.
Incoming fourth through sixth graders will attend July 15-18 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Incoming ninth graders will attend July 15-18 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and incoming seventh and eighth graders will attend Aug. 19-21 from 9 a.m.-noon.
Fundamental and basic skills will be taught along with individual and team competitions.
The cost is $35 and that includes camp T-shirt.
Make checks payable to Becca Peveto and turn in directly to Coach Peveto at the high school or Coach Garza at BC Intermediate.
The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Athletic Boosters have announced that it is time to get ready for Bear Football 2013, and they need your support.
In an effort to recognize as many different groups and organizations within the LCM School District as possible, the Boosters are encouraging groups to solicit sponsors to offset the cost of featuring organizations in the annual Football Program.
According to Chris Bickham, the Booster in charge of the 2013-2014 program, “Each organization’s page can include a picture of the group, a short write-up, and the sponsor’s advertisement. The cost of each page is $100. All pictures must be submitted in digital format. We will design your page based on your pictures and any text you would like to include. The deadline for submitting an ad is Aug. 5.
