HOOP WRAP: Lady Bobcats topple LC-M

LITTLE CYPRESS — Using a 9-0 spurt in the second quarter, the Orangefield Lady Bobcats held the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears at bay as they went on to post a 52-41 victory at The Bear Cave in non-district action Tuesday night.

Orangefield (2-3) led 28-20 at intermission and led by as much as 13 at 40-27 early in the fourth but the Lady Bears (5-5) kept battling back, keeping the Lady Bobcats’ lead under double digits until Lady Bobcat Megan Button drained a pair of free throws with less than a second to make it a 11-point win.
