Clutch free throws lift Lady Bears past Nederland in OT

SOUR LAKE _ The first-place Hardin-Jefferson Lady Hawks strolled past the Orangefield Lady Bobcats 58-28 in District 21-3A action at Hawks Gym Tuesday night.

The Lady Hawks (11-0 in 21-3A play) utilized a 21-9 run in the first quarter and went on to lead the Lady Bobcats (14-12, 6-5) 35-15 at intermission.

Post Morgan Moss led the Lady Bobcats with 12 points. Carley Choate filtered in seven points while Priscilla Garza had six rebounds and Paige Perales grabbed four.

The Lady Bobcats will host the West Orange-Stark Lady Mustangs for Senior Night Friday.

The Lady Bobcats remain a half game ahead of Hamshire-Fannett for the third-place playoff berth. H-F (5-5 in district) fell to second-place Buna Tuesday.
