The Orange Leader
All-State Academic honors have rolled in and Orangefield High School was well represented in the Class 3A ranks.
In baseball, Bobcats Cody Angelle, Luke Johnson and Eric Truncale each made the Texas High School Coaches Association All-State 3A Team while Lady Bobcat third baseman Haleigh Turley made the All-State 3A Team in the Texas High School Girls Coaches Association.

Joining Turley on the 3A Girls team were Buna’s Emma Adkins and Jessi Clark while Livingston’s Emily Moore made the Class 4A unit.

She will be joined by Lady Bobcat head coach Amy McLaughlin, who will guide the Blue Team.
The 1A-3A game will start at 10 a.m. followed by the 4A-5A game at 2 p.m.
