From staff reports

Orange County 4-H learned recently it had been awarded a $900 Community Partnership Grant from Entergy Corp.
These funds will be used to extend the Junior Master Gardener program, which will allow more area schools to benefit from this curriculum. Students will be able to study life skills, career explorations and the importance of community involvement.
“We want to publicly express our thanks to Entergy for the financial assistance that will help us make this project a reality,” said Marie Kenney, County Extension Agent of 4-H and youth development, in a statement. “Entergy consistently looks for ways to partner with charitable and civic organizations in the communities it serves. We are glad to have the opportunity to become a part of that effort and look forward to what we will be able to do in Orange County as a result.”
