Kain named Student of the Month

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce named Sarah Kain earlier this week as the winner of the Student of the Month Program for April.

Kain is a student at Community Christian School. She is involved in many clubs and organizations, including Student Council President (2007-2008), National honor Society President, Student Council at large member (2006-2007), a member of the Yearbook Club, Drama Club, Bible Club, Journalism Club, Varsity Club, Varsity Gold Team Varsity mascot, Church Nursery, and member of Drive Student Ministries.

Kain has been on the National Honor Roll from 2002-2008. She has also received the Joy Award (2005-2006), Godliness Award (2004-2007), Spirit Award (2005-2007), District/Allstate TAPPS Golf, and the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence (2006). Kain’s future plans include attending Lamar University to train as a 3D draftsman.

Kain was recognized by Pauline Hargrove, a member of the GOACC Education Committee, and by other members of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. She received a gift certificate from GOACC, a drink of her choice from the Jumping Bean and a goodie bag filled with many surprises.
