BEAUMONT — Ford Park Arena will once again be filled with the roaring sounds of monsters this winter.

Monster Nation’s “Jurassic Bash” is headed to Ford Park in Beaumont for three days of monster truck action on Feb. 22 - Feb. 24. This event features many of the toughest, biggest trucks in the world, including Bigfoot, Tailgator, Toxic, Equalizer and others.

Tickets are $23 for adults and $11 for children and on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Ford Park box office, Beaumont Civic Center box office, HEB on Dowlen Road in Beaumont, and the Lake Charles Civic Center. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.

This year’s event includes access to a free pit party and is open to all ticketholders. The pit party begins 90 minutes before each show and immediately after each show and it allows guests to meet the drivers and see these monsters up close.

Also part of this year’s event is “The Wheelie Wizard” Tyler Shepard, who will dazzle the audience with his motorcycle skills and tricks. The world-class FMX East Freestyle Motocross competition features several talented riders doing numerous jumps and mid-air tricks.

Kids will really get a kick out of Transaurus, the car eating, firebreathing, transforming dinosaur robot, as well as the never seen before Smashosaurus.

“I have challenged the Monster Nation crew to bring us something new and exciting that is guaranteed to please our crowd, and they have presented a plan that will do just that,” said John Hughes, general manager of Ford Park. “They know what it takes to put on an exciting show, and we are pleased to welcome them back to Ford Park.”
