Tennessee rock outfit 10 Years returns to Southeast Texas this spring with an acoustic performance.
10 Years, arguably one of the most high energy rock outfits of the past five years, brings its “Live and Unplugged Tour” to The Gig on Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont this spring with a concert on Thursday, May 22. Tickets are $17 in advance for ages 18 and older and go on sale Saturday, March 8, at www.outhousetickets.com. Tickets will also be on sale at all area Florida Tans locations starting Monday, March 10. Special guest act for the spring tour is Hellbound Glory.
10 Years, which formed in 1999 in Knoxville, Tenn., is best known for its high energy rock shows. The group has performed in Beaumont multiple times over the years, including its most recent showcase at The Gig on Oct. 30, 2013.
The band is touring in support of its October 2013 release, “Live and Unplugged at the Tennessee Theater,” a six-song EP featuring the songs “All Your Lies” “Focus,” “So Long, Goodbye,” “The Autumn Effect,” “Fade Into (The Ocean)” and “Proud of You.” The EP is 10 Years second ever acoustic release and was recorded on Dec. 31, 2012, at the historic Tennessee Theater in Knoxville.
