Texas country takes aim on Dixie Dance Hall

BEAUMONT — A trio of talented Texas country music artists are headed to Southeast Texas for concerts over the next four weeks.

Dixie Dance Hall, located on the Crockett Street Entertainment District in downtown Beaumont, will be the site of several high profile Texas country music events over the next four weeks. Each event will be held on a Thursday night and is open to attendance for ages 18 and older.

Arriving first will be Cory Morrow on July 25 with special guest Kyle Park. The Houston-native’s most recent album, “Live at Billy Bob’s Texas,” was released in 2012.

On Aug. 8, Cody Johnson returns to the Golden Triangle for a showcase at Dixie Dance Hall with special guest Jon Wolfe. Johnson’s last album was “A Different Day” released in October 2011.

The always entertaining and wildly popular Kevin Fowler returns to Beaumont  on Aug. 15 for a showcase with special guest act, The Rankin Twins. Fowler’s most recent release, “Chippin’ Away,” hit the stores and Internet in August 2011 and peaked at number 19 on the U.S. country chart and number 81 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.
