ORANGE — • March 17, 2012 The legendary blues musician B.B. King performed at L’Auberge du Lac Casino and Resort in Lake Charles, La.

• March 17, 1981 The Marshall Tucker Band performed at the Beaumont Civic Center in support of its 1981 release, “Dedicated.” Rusty Wier, who served as the opening act, was arrested in his dressing room on drug charges.

• March 18, 2013 Gary Mullen and the Works performed “One Night of Queen” to a near-capacity crowd at the Lutcher Theater in Orange.

• March 18, 2011 The Marshall Tucker Band performed at Nutty Jerry’s in Winnie.

• March 18, 2010 The Eli Young Band performed at Dixie Dancehall in downtown Beaumont in support of its September 2008 release, “Jet Black and Jealous.” Opening the show was Brantley Gilbert, who was touring in support of his new album, “Halfway to Heaven,” released two days prior.
