LAKE CHARLES, La. —
It’s time to get ‘barenaked’ at L’Auberge Casino and Resort.
Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies will perform Friday, Oct. 25 at the L’Auberge Casino and Resort Event Center in Lake Charles, La. for ages 21 and older. Tickets are $45 for standing room only and are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, including charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
Barenaked Ladies, which formed in Scarborough, Ontario in 1988, is currently comprised of bandmembers Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Ed Robertson and Tyler Stewart. The group is best known for hit songs such as “One Week,” “Pinch Me,” “The Old Apartment,” “If I Had $1,000,000” and “Brian Wilson.”
The band is tour in support of its June 2013 release, “Grinning Streak,” it’s 11th studio album, which features the single “Boomerang.” The CD debuted at number 10 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and sold 26,000 copies in its first week, according to Soundscan.
