Foxworthy has also received multiple Grammy Award nominations for his work, climbed the top of the comedy album charts and has gone on to host his own comedy specials on television and HBO.

His comedy career once again found the spotlight at the start of the 21st century with the birth of the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour,” which featured Foxworthy, along with Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White. The tour, originally scheduled for just 20 shows, lasted three years.

Engvall, a native of Galveston, Texas, won the award for “Best Male Stand-Up Comedian” a the 1992 American Comedy Awards.
