Craig Morgan to appear at Texas Longhorn this fall

VINTON, La. — Singer and songwriter Craig Morgan will perform at the Texas Longhorn this fall.

Country music singer Craig Morgan is headed back to the region this fall with a concert on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Texas Longhorn in Vinton, La. Tickets are available now for $20 and will be $25 on the day of the show for ages 18 and older.

Morgan, 49, is best known for his smash number one single, “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” as well as his Top 10 hits “Little Bit of Life,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Almost Home,” “Bonfire,” “Love Remembers” and “International Harvester.”

Morgan’s most recent studio album, “This Ole Boy,” was released in February 2012 and peaked at No. 5 on the U.S. Country music chart and No. 41 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

His most recent release, “The Journey (Livin’ Hits),” was released in September 2013. It is Morgan’s second greatest hits album and includes four new songs, including the Top 20 single “Wake Up Lovin’ You” and his next single, “We’ll Come Back,” which will be released at the end of June.

Earlier this year in mid-spring, Morgan was forced to cancel several upcoming events due to a should injury which required surgery. According to a May 15 article in USA Today, Morgan’s injury occurred while he was “grappling with friends at a gym” and resulted in torn tendons. Unexpectedly, doctors had to use six screws to repair bone fractures.
