The New Year will have plenty of excitement as Monster Nation returns to Southeast Texas.
Monster Nation’s “Scene of the Smash” is coming to Ford Arena in Beaumont from Friday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 with six, 10,000 pound monster trucks, motocross riders and superstar daredevil Bryan Spangler.
Tickets are $11-$25 in advance and are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Ford Park box office, Beaumont Civic Center, H.E.B. on Dowlen Road in Beaumont, the Lake Charles Civic Center and charge by phone at 800-745-3000 and online at www.ticketmaster.com. One of the most recognized vehicles in monster truck history is Bigfoot, and it is back to defend its Monster Nation Freestyle and Racing title. It will be no easy task as the drivers of vehicles like Over Bored, Toxic, Rammunition, Equalizer and Red Solo Truck look to claim the crown.
Another popular part of the Monster Nation experience is the high-flying stunts of the motocross riders and the riders of FMX East will be looking to see who can pull of the biggest and best tricks for the Beaumont fans. Whether it is 40-feet up in the air, upside down or sideways, the fans will come out the real winners.
Fans will also be treated to a new addition this year, and it features superstar daredevil Bryan Spangler, the son of world-famous stuntman Spanky Spangler, who will fall into the “scene” on fire as he plunges from the rafters of Ford Arena after being doused with gasoline and set afire.
Fans will get the opportunity to see each monstrous vehicle up-close and personal with the inclusion of the free pit pass admission with each ticket purchase. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the drivers and see the trucks before and immediately following each day’s show.
