If you have already finished your holiday shopping, then you are probably a step ahead of most other people. So why not find a great show to unwind, relax and get ready for the approaching holiday and enjoy.
Capistrano
It’s a double dose of Centerfire this weekend at the Capistrano in downtown Orange as the variety band is sure to keep the dance floor full tonight and Saturday night.
Ages 21 and older are welcome to attend the fun and there is never a cover charge.
Bo’s Place
Karaoke leads off the weekend starting tonight at Bo’s Place in Orange, while area classic rock band Longtooth heats things up on Saturday.
The Texas Country Cajuns will do its best to shake things up from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, while karaoke is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Vinton VFW
Ages 21 and older are invited out to the VFW Hall in Vinton, La. on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the weekly dance and concert.
A variety of Cajun, country, swamp pop and zydeco music is featured by the music group, the Louisiana Cajun Aces, and guest vocalists always keep the event lively.
Club 87
Area guitar legend Scott McGill will be performing beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday at Club 87 in Orange with his bandmates in OId Dog Mac.
Classic rock and blues rock will be prominently featured and this group will dazzle you.

This Bridge City venue regularly hosts karaoke every Saturday night, but this week the regularly scheduled entertainment will follow the broadcast of the Dallas Cowboys football game on the NFL Network, which this establishment happens to carry for the public’s viewing pleasure.

Area cover rock band Knotch heads back to the cozy confines of Changing Times tonight for another solid performance, while this Beaumont venue goes metal on Saturday night as area groups Skrump, Dead Men Walking, Boggdown and others perform a very metal Christmas for your listening pleasure.

Kryptonite
Crockett Street’s newest venue features a rare double dose of live entertainment this weekend beginning tonight with the Aaron Williams Band.
Saturday is the “Kryptonite Christmas” featuring live music by Forever Falls and Knuckle Deep. Typically the shows are held on the patio in the back of the venue, but the music could move indoors if inclement weather persists.
Ages 18 and older are welcome to attend and admission is charged at the door.
The Stoned Crow
In a rare concert offering, The Stoned Crow lets it all hang out Saturday night with several bands on the bill for a free concert.
Artists scheduled to perform include Broken Mary, Storms Threaten to Destroy, Kelly Joe Cordova and The Whole Shootin’ Match, and Morgan Mitchum.
The show starts at 8 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
Vidor VFW
The Cadillacs are a great oldies variety band, so you won’t be disappointed when you watch this act perform, especially if you like to dance the night away.

Variety cover band Book of Days is on tap tonight at the Logon Cafe in Beaumont, while eclectic musician Danny O’Flaherty performs his highly acclaimed and Celtic influenced music.

Madison’s
The Kris Harper Band will keep the drinks flowing and the dance floor full tonight at Madison’s. However, it’s Saturday’s festivities which will probably pack the house.
Madison’s will feature the Dallas Cowboys game being shown on the NFL Network this Saturday, which will be followed by a performance from Chris Johnson and Cheap Whiskey at a slightly later time than normally scheduled.
On Christmas night, the venue reopens to allow friends and family members to continue the holiday’s merriment with a special El Floppy Tacos Christmas concert.

The Avenue Upstairs
A great all ages show is slated for this Port Neches venue at 7 p.m. Saturday featuring live music by Sivan, Kill Cliche and Wars Without End.
Bridge City Skatepark
With the release of school for Christmas vacation, the next several shows at The House of Rock inside Bridge City Skatepark should be well attended and a lot of fun.
Bands on tap for tonight’s showcase include The Jimmy Wilman Acoustic Show, Gonzo Sirens, Seven Cries and Touchless Automatic, whereas Saturday’s concert gets down and dirty with the heavier sounds of several metal acts.
Saturday’s main attraction has to be the return of Vertigo Sun, who’s brutal style of music will cause a moshing frenzy.
Other bands set to rock Saturday include Collapse the Memory, A Nearby Scream, Lay Them to Rest, Cataglyphis and Death of a Skepsis.

Antone’s
The fifth annual Kaiser Family Christmas has the spotlight at Antone’s this Saturday night featuring both Jimmy and David Lee Kaiser and an array of friends and special guests.

The Oak Ridge Boys conclude their second night of performances with a show inside the event center at L’Auberge du Lac Casino in Lake Charles, La.

Ages 21 and older only can attend this concert.
Orange VFW
Crossfire is back for its weekly performance at the dance and concert inside the VFW Hall in Orange this Thursday starting at 7 p.m.
