July winds down on a good note as the last weekend of the month has plenty of activities to offer.

First Christian Church
Located at 611 Ninth St. in Orange, First Christian Church welcomes funny man Clyde Ray Webber Jr. for an evening of family friendly entertainment.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. today and is free and open to the public. Call 409-883-4483 for more details.

Cotton’s Cay
Three Legged Dawg has stepped in at the last minute to fill a cancellation tonight, but don’t think this band will not be ready.
This group always manages to deliver a consistent performance of classic rock and blues and keeps the good times rolling.

Capistrano
No Limit is the featured music group tonight at the Capistrano for ages 21 and older. Get your dancing shoes on and get ready for a good time. Admission is free.

Polo’s Lounge
Lone Star Karaoke is available every Wednesday through Friday evening at Polo’s Lounge, which is located at the Ramada Inn on Interstate 10 in Orange.
Then, on Saturday night, guests are invited back to check out live music from some of the best in local and area entertainment. This week’s band is Exit 105.

Club 87
Brad Brinkley and Comfort Zone are one of the hottest country music acts in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana and with good reason.
See this band for yourself and you will understand why.

Bayou Club
Whether it’s live Cajun music from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Sunday, the pool tournament on Monday, or karaoke with Joey and Jerri on Wednesday, there is always something to do at the Bayou Club on Simmons Drive in Orange.

Paulette’s
Karaoke is available for your listening and participating pleasure tonight and Saturday at Paulette’s.

Eagles Lodge
Live music is on tap starting at 8 p.m. today at the Eagles as Exit 105 returns to this Orange establishment located on North 28th Street. Admission is $5 for single entry and $8 for couples at the door.
Starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, karaoke featuring Patty Ferguson is open to the public.

Vidor VFW
If you missed No Limit the last time they were at the VFW Hall in Vidor, then make sure you don’t this Saturday as this Orange County based outfit is back from 8 p.m., Saturday, to 12:30 a.m.

The Vortex
Local and Regional entertainment is on tap at several shows this weekend, including a special Monday concert to help get the work week started.
Performing tonight at The Vortex are Amplified Heat, Shandon Sahm, and Whorehound, while the Crazy Ivans, Shotgun Hustler and Cousin Phelpy are slated for Saturday.
Then, on Monday night, check out area bands Kill the Theory, With Guns Drawn with guests Divide the Sky and Novista.

Changing Times
It’s a classic rock, southern rock kind of weekend at Changing Times.
Tonight’s bands include Bad Faith with special guest, Longneck Road, while Three Legged Dawg moves from Orange County to this venue in Jefferson County on Saturday.
Admission is $5 at the door and ages 18 and older are welcome to attend.

Madison’s
A hot music weekend is in store at Madison’s, located on Dowlen Road in Beaumont, as several area groups perform.
Tonight, David Lee Kaiser and the Bean Dip Band take the stage, while the classic rock sounds of Mid-Life Crisis can be heard on Saturday.
On Sunday, the second annual Box Fan Bash is being held free of charge throughout the afternoon as numerous area musicians donate their time to help those in need in the community.
Patrons are asked to either bring a box fan or make a cash donation to help elderly and less fortunate stay cool during these hot summer months.
On Tuesday, El Floppy Tacos perform outside on the patio, and then karaoke is the thing to do ever Thursday.

Outlaw Drinkin’ Club
More hard rock and metal music is in store this weekend at the Outlaw Drinkin’ Club in Beaumont.
Performing tonight are Flood Gate and Phoricid, while Saturday’s concert is by the cover band known as Sabbath Judas Sabbath, which features James Rivera of Helstar from Houston.

The Barking Dog
More quality entertainment is on tap at the Barking Dog, located on Pearl Street in downtown Beaumont.
Artists scheduled to perform tonight include Chad Sasser, Elizabeth Hobbs, and Zauh.
Saturday’s concert features regional artist Mo Pair, along with the rocking good sounds of the Crazy Ivans.

Whiskey River
This Beaumont venue continues to be the leading source for live country music in Southeast Texas, and, sometimes, other forms of music.
The Cajun and zydeco entertainer Wayne Toups brings his accordion to Whiskey River tonight. Admission is charged at the door.
Then, on Thursday night, Cross Canadian Ragweed returns to Southeast Texas for the first time in several months with a special concert.
Ages 18 and older are welcome to attend, and tickets are $30 in advance at Florida Tans. Admission could be higher at the door.

Woody’s
Stale Mind has been an integral part of the area music scene for many years, and through it all, the band has been at the top of the metal totem pole.
The group is finally ready to release its third CD and will hold a party to celebrate the occasion this Saturday at Woody’s in Port Arthur.
The show is absolutely free to the public ages 21 and older.

Leon’s Fish Camp
The Wade Foster Experience, featuring Gary Dorsey and Andy Williams, is performing from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, at Leon’s Fish Camp will play at Leon’s Fish Camp, which is located at 7000 Fisher Road in ........

Dylan’s
Guitar phenomenon Scott McGill, along with his bandmates in Old Dog Mac, is back at this Mid-County venue tonight, while variety band Jag performs on Saturday. Admission is charged both nights at the door.
Acoustic music is featured free of charge from area artists every Tuesday, while karaoke keeps the good times rolling on Wednesday.

Larry’s French Market
You haven’t heard good music until you hear the classic sounds of The Grateful Geezers tonight at Larry’s French Market in Groves.
On Saturday night the Cajun and zydeco sounds of Chris Miller and Bayou Roots keep the dance floor full.
Rod Rishard is back for the second of his two Thursday night performances as well.
