Comedian sets date for Beaumont

Hold on to your seats Southeast Texas because there is an Earthquake forecast in the near future.

The comedian known as Earthquake, born Nathaniel Martin Stroman, will bring his stand-up routine to Beaumont as the “Earthquake and Friends Comedy Explosion” performs inside the Julie Rogers Theatre at 8 p.m., July 18.

Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, including online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $39.50, $34.50 and $29.50, and can also be purchased at local outlets like HEB on Dowlen Road in Beaumont, FYE in Central Mall in Port Arthur, the Beaumont Civic Center box office or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Earthquake has been seen on television in a number of appearances, including a special on Comedy Central, a half-hour HBO episode of the “One Night Stand” comedy series and a recurring role on “Everybody Hates Chris.” He also had a small role in the Kevin Smith film, “Clerks II.”
