Lutcher Theater
The legendary 1955 hit, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” comes to Orange tonight for one performance only at the Lutcher Theater.

Capistrano
It’s a blues rock kind of weekend at the Capistrano in downtown Orange as Scott McGill and Old Dog Mac are featured on stage tonight and Saturday. Ages 21 and older are always welcome, and there is never a cover charge.
Polo’s Lounge
Beginning tonight at Polo’s Lounge, there is no cover charge for live entertainment, and what better way to start the free music with local band, Three Legged Dawg? This group always manages to deliver a good time, whether you like classic rock or blues-based rock music.

The Vortex
A wild week of music is in store at The Vortex starting tonight as metal bands Skrump, Mike Got Spiked, and 6 Pack Deep take the stage. Admission is $5. Then, on Saturday night, the New Orleans-based punk outfit known as The Vettes come to town for a CD release party.
Special guests include Brenn, and more to be announced. Admission is $7 at the door.
A special Monday night showcase has been scheduled featuring the Psycho Devilles from Atlanta, Ga. Admission is $7 at the door.
Finally, the Chicago-based band known as Yakuza will make a special trip to Beaumont on Wednesday with a showcase at The Vortex prior to its extended weekend performance in Austin as part of the South by Southwest Music and Film Festival.
Admission is $7 on Wednesday, and ages 21 and older are always welcome.
Changing Times
Hard rock fans looking for a cool show may want to check out Changing Times in Beaumont tonight as Knotch and Altar Ego take the stage.
A special Thursday showcase featuring Proximity has been scheduled for an 8 p.m. start time, so get your weekend started early here.
Logon Cafe
Acoustic music can be heard tonight at the Logon Cafe as the soothing sounds of Ward, Bowen and Steinman fill the air.
If you are a Pink Floyd fan, then mark your calendar for Saturday as Mo Pair and The Ugi Mooks are the featured attraction for a Pink Floyd happy hour, which will include a performance of the hit album, “Dark Side of the Moon.”

Texas country highlights this weekend’s music in downtown Beaumont as regional acts Hill Country Jane and Jaryd Lane perform, along with area group, the Blue Broussard Band. Admission is $10 at the door for ages 18 and older.
On Saturday night, Austin-based Litany for the Departed is back in Southeast Texas with a special showcase featuring three opening acts in Echolane, Warchild, and Broken Mary. Admission is $10 at the door for ages 18 and older.
On Tuesday night, national recording artist Saliva returns to Antone’s for the fifth time ever, and the band has brought Texas metal monsters Drowning Pool with them. Tickets are $20 in advance at all Comtex Wireless stores and $25 at the door on Tuesday.
The doors open early and opening act City Sleeps will hit the stage at 7:15 p.m.
