— We are excited to welcome the Southern Professional Outboard Racing Tour to the banks of the Sabine River this weekend.
You can read all about the sport and this weekend’s event brought to you by the Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau in an insert to be published in Thursday’s paper.
A similar event, Thunder on the Neches, has been drawing thousands of people each year to the Neches River. The racing, along with RiverFest, have grown into an event the shines a spotlight on Port Neches.
Showdown on the Sabine should do no less here.
If you have a marquee, welcome the racers and their fans. Encourage your employees to smile and show off that Southeast Texas charm. Let visitors know the great things Orange County has to offer, such as top notch museums and a theater, diverse cuisine, lots of outdoors activities, and more.
