Black History Celebration
The Orange African-American Museum, located at The Ware Plaza, 319 W. Park Ave. in Orange, invites the public to celebrate Black History Month from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22. Jazz music provided by the Alonzo Williams Trio. The public is invited to view local heroes and pioneer black families who paved the way for the rest of us. Admission is free.

The Greater Orange Area Literacy Services (GOALS) will hold its 15th Annual Spelling Bee fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, in the Student Center of Lamar State College-Orange.
