ORANGE — Freedom to Change Ministry

Sixth Street Community Church of God in Christ, 1619 Sixth St. in Orange, will hold its 2nd Annual Deliverance Revival at 7:30 p.m., nightly, March 5 - March 7. Guest speaker is Marenda Malveaux of Lake Charles, La.

Vidor Runners and Walkers

Vidor Runners and Walkers meet at 5:30 p.m., every Tuesday, at Claiborne West Park. Runners and walkers of every age and level are invited.

Nederland Art Guild

Nederland Art Guild classes are held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the Texas Artists Museum, 3501 Cultural Center Drive near the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur. Cost is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. During the month of March, Ann Hoffpauir of Orange will be the instructor. The class will do a still life of fruit and Ann requests that your canvas be a small one, either 11 X 14, or 12 X 16. For more information, call Doris at 409-728-1875.

Scrapbooking

The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2523, located at 803 N. 28th St. in Orange is offering free scrapbook classes at 4 p.m., each Tuesday. The community is invited to come join in. For more information contact Sharon Bodin at 409-735-8662 or 409-719-7793.

Plate lunch fundraiser

American Legion Post 49, 108 Green Ave. in Orange, will hold a plate lunch fundraiser from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Thursday, March 7. Cost is $8 and meal consists of brisket, link, potato salad, beans, bread and dessert. Walk-in’s welcome and delivery available. For orders or delivery call 409-886-1241 after noon, March 6 and before 9 a.m., March 7.

Heroines of Jericho

The Heroines of Jericho will hold its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m., Friday, March 8 at Gate City Masonic Lodge No. 31, 1017 Mill at John St. in Orange. All Heroines and Knights are asked to be present.

AAUW Book Drive

The Orange Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is beginning its annual book drive to collect “gently used” books for their scholarship fund. All books, fiction, non-fiction, hardbound or paper back are acceptable. Books may be delivered to the Mann Insurance Agency at 1505 Park Ave. at 15th Street during regular business hours. If unable to deliver the books, you may call 409-886-5739 or 409-886-2194 to arrange for pickup.
