ORANGE — Vidor Historical Society

The Vidor Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, March 4, at in the Fellowship Hall of First Pentecostal Church at Camp and Wilson Streets.

City Council

Pine Forest City Council will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, March 4, at City Hall, 305 Nagel St. in Pine Forest. The public is welcome to attend.

Open House

Bridge City Elementary will hold Open House from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 5. All classrooms will feature student work on display. Each grade level will display items from spring and Texas themes. Title I teachers will host a parent meeting that will feature fun learning games parents can do with their child to promote reading and math.

Historical Society

The officers and Board of Directors of the Orange County Historical Society will meet at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 5 in the Orange Public Library.

Open House

Community Christian School will have its annual Open House from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m, Tuesday, March 5, featuring exciting activities such as a silent and live auction with a professional auctioneer, Book Fair, Science and Art Fair, 5K & 1K Lion Pride Run sign-up, and much more. Green Thumb Series

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension of Orange County is holding the 2nd group of classes in the Green Thumb Series called Plant Propagation and Botany. The topics of this series are: Plant Categories and Plant Processes; Plant Parts and Functions; Flowers, Fruits, Seeds, and Germination; Environmental Factors; and Plant Nutrition and Hormones. These classes are being held at the Mauriceville Community Center (Crawfish Festival Grounds) from 6 pm to 8 pm. Classes are as scheduled: March 5, March 19, and March 26. The cost is $30 per person for these classes and covers all materials. Please call the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office at 409-882-7010 to sign up for these classes.
