ORANGE — The Orange Christian Services Golf Tournament Fundraiser got a little boost before tee time.

Title sponsors David Self Ford and Akrotex presented Orange Christian Services a check for $5,000 on Friday afternoon in the lobby of David Self Ford to help OCS get a jump-start on its golf tournament fundraiser.

The 17th Annual OCS Golf Tournament Fundraiser will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange, and organizers hope it will be one of the most successful yet.

OCS has received numerous donations prior to the event, but Friday’s donation from its generous supporters and title sponsors, such as Ross Smith who has been a title sponsor every year, will make this year’s event a great success.

Orange Christian Services is a local non-profit organization which serves citizens all across Orange County with a variety of needs and services. The organization will be celebrating its 33rd year this October.
